There is an allure and fascination with Cuban cigars so it was a must for us to make a stop at a tobacco farm while in Pinar del Rio. We visited the private tobacco farm where my brother in-law buys his cigars during each of his frequent visits. Millions of cigars are produced in Cuba each year making tobacco a major moneymaking crop for Cuba.
I loved the color and texture of the mature leaves that were hanging in the barn. They were in the final stage of the process awaiting to be rolled into cigars.
